INSTRUCTIONS

Page 1.

  1. Cut out figure 1 and roll it up in a cylindrical shape.
  2. Paste figure 1.2 along the side of the cylindrical shape from the inside, using it as a connector between two ends.
  3. Cut out figure 1.1 and paste it along the inside of the rim of the cylindrical shape. Make sure that you paste only bottom half of the strip inside the cylinder and leave the top half free to be connected to another cylinder.

Page 2.

  1. Cut figures marked no. 2 along with the blank portion indicated on the sides with grey lines.
  2. Fold them along the center and reopen them.
  3. Using the blank portions on each of their sides, paste them along the bottom of figure 1 so as the grey portion is always below the cylindrical shape’s rim. (refer to Ref. Figure I on the page)
  4. Cut and fold figures 3(A), 3(B), 3(C) and 3(D) along the line in the middle.
  5. Stick the folded figures of 3 to each of the four triangular fairings (refer figure II) right above the grey portion. (as shown in Ref. Figure I)
  6. Cut the figure 4 and paste the circle horizontally along the top rim of cylinder 1 on the inside.

  1. Cut out figures 5, 5.1 and 5.2 and repeat the steps from Page 1 to make a second cylinder.
  2. Cut out figure 6 and paste the circle horizontally along the top rim of cylinder 2 on the inside.
  3. Paste/tape the cylinder right on top of the first one.
  4. Cut out figure 7 along the blank portion on one side indicated by a dotted line.
  5. Use the blank portion and stick to the other end of the strip so it takes up the shape of a tapered cylinder. (as shown in Ref. Figure II)
  6. Paste/tape the tapered cylinder, with narrow side up, on top of the cylinder.

Page 4.

  1. Use figures 9, 9.1, 9.2 and 9. 3 and repeat the steps from Page 1 to make a third cylinder.
  2. Cut out figures 8 and 10 and paste these circles horizontally along the top and bottom rim of the third cylinder.
  3. Paste/tape the cylinder right on top of the second one.
  4. Use figure 11 to make a tapered cylinder and use figure 11.1 as a connector to connect its ends.
  5. Paste/tape the tapered cylinder, with narrow side up, on top of the third cylinder.

Page 5.

  1. Repeat steps from Page 1 with figures 13, 13.1, 13.0 and 13.3 to make a fourth cylinder.
  2. Cut out figure 14 and 12 and paste the circles horizontally along the top and bottom rim of the fourth cylinder on the inside.
  3. Paste/tape the cylinder right on top of the third one.
  4. Use figure 15 to make a tapered cylinder and use figure 15.1 as a connector to connect its ends.
  5. Paste/tape the tapered cylinder, with narrow side up, on top of the fourth cylinder.
  6. Cut out figure 16 along the blank portion on one side indicated by a dotted line.
  7. Use the blank portion and paste it on the other end of strip as to make a cylindrical shape.
  8. Paste figure 16 on top of tapered cylinder made from figure 15 as show in Figure III
  9. Cut out figure 17 and roll it up tightly and insert it inside figure 16 perched atop the model (refer to Ref. Figure III)
  10. Cut out figure 18 and paste it along the top rim of the figure 16 as shown in Figure III.

And voila! You got yourself your very own Saturn V.
