If the entire US election fracas,
where the election-poll hungry monkeys mongering for votes on
TV, internet and radio have been driving you up the wall, Games2win
brings you a game that will allow you give them a piece of your
mind.
Election Slap is a game
that will drive that itch in your hand away. The game invites
people eager to slap the 'celebrities' of the US presidential
elections; Palin, Obama, Hillary, McCain and George Bush,
and have fun at the same time.
On the motive of creating the
game, Games2win Product Head Mihir Shah told Animationxpress.com,
"The idea is not to be malicious in anyway and is not
to be taken in a literal sense. It is essentially slap-stick
humour. Since we also cater to an international audience and
the US is going through an election fever, we created this
paradigm."
The 2D flash animated game
is easy to play, where the player needs to drag the mouse
within the playing area to slap and score target points. There
are five hands allotted at each level. The game measures the
impact of the slaps delivered each time.
To qualify for the preceding
levels, one has to surpass the target points. There are in
all five stages that begin with slapping Palin first, proceeding
to Obama, Hillary, McCain and Bush, in that order.
The pre production and production
schedule took merely five days. "It was a team effort
and everyone was actively involved right from the creative
aspect to the final production. We create topical games with
key events. Therefore, the entire game was conceptualized
and finished in a very short span of time," said Mihir.
The game acts as a stress reliever
for anyone looking for a good laugh. The background score
and the slap sound used, peps up the fun element of the game.
The portal offers players to go ahead and rate the game. The
game can also be downloaded and played offline. So, go make
yourselves slaphappy people!
